| 2026 Winter Away Day |
We held our annual Winter Away Day on January 12th at the Old Rectory, Crostwick.
As always, the venue hosted the occasion with excellent service and efficiency.
We gathered for coffee before play - several members had set out the tables and equipment beforehand.
Attendance was good - we had 14 full tables.
Peter Bowman directed proceedings and we played 8 rounds before breaking for lunch.
The meal was excellent and many members expressed how impressed they were with the quality of the food.

There was more coffee and tea before we played our final 4 rounds of the day.

Everything went smoothly!
Sue Davey, our chair, then presented the prizes.

Hazel Carney and Jill Abbott won the North/South prize.

Maggie Neale and Fred Davis won the East/West prize.
A very successful day!
