| Christmas party 2025 |
Our last session of 2025 was the Christmas party. We played Chicago bridge accompanied by chocolates, Christmas cake and a glass of wine. Prize winners were Lesley and Nigel with an impressive positive score, John and Linda with a pretty big negative score and Ben and Shan who scored closest to zero.

We welcomed 40 players over the year.
The highest scoring pairs this year are Ben and Shan with a creditable 57.5%. Taking handicaps into account, the top scorers are David and Nita just beating Jean and Chris. If we look at the best 30 handicap scores from the year, Jean and Chris are at the top closely followed by Jennifer and Pam. Linda and John made nearly twice as many slams as the next pairs. There must be a lesson for us here.
Our most regular pairs were Jennifer and Pam who played 37 times, and Ben and Shan with 36.
