The Individual competition will be a single evening event played over 21 boards with partners changing after every board. The winner will be the person with the highest average score over the 21 boards played.

This competition will require pre-entry with the first 28 people entered gaining entry.

The default bidding system to be played will be,

Benji Acol with 4 card Majors,

Weak No Trump,

Red suit transfers,

Stayman,

Gerber and Standard Blackwood.

2C to mean 8 playing tricks in an unspecified suit or 19/20 with a balanced hand (followed by 2NT)

2D means 23+ HCP

2NT shows 21/22.

Signals and Discards are High to encourage and Low to discourage.

Pairs are allowed to agree to vary from the default as long as this agreed within 20 seconds of them sitting at the table.
