In the past, when an individual joined BBO they were on their own and looking for potential partners

By adding a system summary, your user profile can be used to help other players quickly understand which system and conventions(s) you can use; especially useful if you don't play regularly with a partner

Go to the Account tab > Profile. You can enter information in the "Other" field regarding your systems. If you don't see "other field" drag the vertical divider to the left to expand the sidebar. It's between "Real name" and "Country".

Convention Card

Having a written partnership agreement obviously helps consistency in bidding and playing and also improving your bridge. If you have a regular partner you can complete a card and save it for use with that partner

Go into Account > Convention Cards, there are some stock Convention Cards that you can use as starting point. Once saved with your partners' userid your partner will be able to view it during play by clicking where the blue 3 bar icon is and selecting view convention card. Your opponents card will also be visible there.
