Notice is hereby given that the 2026 Annual General Meeting of the Haslemere Bridge Club will be held at Grayswood Village Hall on Wednesday 8^th April 2026 at 12.30 (followed by Bridge playing)

6. Subscriptions - new subs from 1st May
7.  Membership  Report
8.  To elect Officers and Committee Members-all have offered to re stand with exception of Sheila who is taking a well earned rest .Aidan has completed his tenure as Chair and Ed is proposed to the members as the new Chair
9.  Christmas Party-16^th December –charity nominations requested
10.  Any other business

Members are invited to suggest any nominations for the Committee  and to raise any topics for discussion in accordance with the Constitution .It would be helpful if advance notice could be given to Sally Crathern of any such matters 

As a general rule: ALERT all artificial bids below 3NT, or above, if made on the first round of
bidding.
ANNOUNCE strength of, 1NT openings, 2 level natural suit openings, stayman,
and transfers (after 1NT and 2NT).
 Only touch the bidding box when you have decided what bid to make.
 Do not unduly pause before passing.
 Do not hold up play by filling in your scorecard before making an opening lead.
 Only briefly look at the table scores and don't discuss it unless there is an error.  ensure the correct info. has been entered.

Haslemere Bridge Club is a friendly club with 75 members.  We meet every Wednesday afternoon and play duplicate bridge using Bridgemates.
