HBC CHRISTMAS PARTY

Ho Ho Ho Don’t miss out on the party of the year

We will be starting at 12.30 for drinks and canapés. Lunch  will be served at 1.15 followed by bridge at approximately 2.15.

The cost for all members attending the lunch is £10.This will cover drinks and all expenses and any balance will be given to  the chosen charity.

As in previous years we will be collecting for a local charity. This year’s charity is The Hunter Centre in Haslemere.
We will be passing a bucket around for this during the lunch.
The entire lunch is being provided by members which in previous years has been a fantastic feast.
We ask those who are not contributing to the lunch to be extra generous with the collection

All members are welcome  so see you there.Everyone will get a game so no need for a partner

As a general rule: ALERT all artificial bids below 3NT, or above, if made on the first round of
bidding.
ANNOUNCE strength of, 1NT openings, 2 level natural suit openings, stayman,
and transfers (after 1NT and 2NT).
 Only touch the bidding box when you have decided what bid to make.
 Do not unduly pause before passing.
 Do not hold up play by filling in your scorecard before making an opening lead.
 Only briefly look at the table scores and don't discuss it unless there is an error.  ensure the correct info. has been entered.

Haslemere Bridge Club is a friendly club with 75 members.  We meet every Wednesday afternoon and play duplicate bridge using Bridgemates.
