Here is the 2026 Sectional Tournament schedule for Unit #364.

As a reminder, here is the organizational structure we operate under.

Unit #364 represents the Western Slope of Colorado and includes approximately 300 members. Our Unit operates under District 17, which covers Colorado, New Mexico, Arizona, Southern Nevada, Eastern Utah, West Texas, and Wyoming. District 17, in turn, operates under the ACBL (American Contract Bridge League)

Our local clubs host the tournaments, while the Unit secures the sanction and serves as the responsible organizing body. If you are interested in attending any of the tournaments and need more information or have questions feel free to contact me.  The flyers will be posted on ACBL Tournaments as they are available.

Now for some very exciting news about the Peach Tournament!

The 2026 Peach Sectional will be held on Main Street at the Grand Junction Convention Center and will be dedicated in memory of Jeff Phillips — one of the founders of the Grand Slam Bridge Club and an avid bridge teacher who truly paved the way for the strong bridge community we enjoy today.

Here are a few of the special things we have planned so far. 

We are also thrilled to welcome Curt Soloff, a professional bridge player from the Eastern Slope, who will present a FREE lecture on Saturday. His topic, “Defensive Fact or Fiction,” is one you won’t want to miss. Opportunities like this are typically found at Regional and National tournaments — not Sectionals!

This special lecture reflects Jeff’s lifelong passion for teaching and learning more about the game we all love. Many thanks to Carolyn Ford for making this possible.

In addition, Betty Sladek  has helped us implement a new registration program. This is a long-overdue improvement that will finally allow us to track attendance and plan more effectively. 

Jolynn Phillips will once again organize a non duplicate, social game on Sunday. 

Peaches and Enstrom candy is our traditional gift to all players. 

There will be a raffle made possible by Daphne Bevel. The raffle features really cute dishware decorated with playing cards — perfect for your bridge-themed entertaining!
