Tips for Polite Play
Help make the game enjoyable and fair for everyone!

Make your opening lead promptly before documenting your contract.

If you fall behind, pass your completed boards. This helps keep the movement on schedule.

Avoid slow play. Slow play may result in a director-assigned adjusted score. When a board cannot be played because of time lost through no fault of one side, the non-offending side will receive a positive score adjustment.

Do not discuss completed boards at the table. Your conversation may be overheard by players who have yet to play those boards. If you hear unauthorized information, please notify the director.

Wait for the timer before moving to your next table. Please remain at your current table until the signal indicates it is time to move.

Questions about rulings: As a playing director, I must balance directing responsibilities with playing, and time does not always allow me to explain a ruling during the game. I welcome questions and discussion following the game, when I can give them my full attention.
