Tournament News

The Doc Holliday Sectional in Glenwood was great fun for everyone who attended. Tournament Chair Geo Fuller and his committee organized a well-run event, and once again we enjoyed Karen Kribs' outstanding buffet, which has become a tournament favorite.

Sectional tournaments in rural areas are becoming increasingly difficult to sustain. We are especially grateful to Cara-Lyn Lappen for generously sharing her time and expertise as our local tournament director. Having a qualified local director within our Unit has resulted in significant cost savings while allowing us to continue offering high-quality sectional tournaments.

The Four Corners Sectional in Durango, chaired by Susan Westerwick, was another outstanding event. Susan and her committee provided exceptional hospitality throughout the weekend, creating a welcoming atmosphere for players. It was a wonderful weekend filled with excellent bridge, great fellowship, and memorable fun.

Unit 364 Annual meeting

The annual meeting was held on Saturday, May 2nd in Glenwood. Barbara Clarke was appointed to fill the open seat on the Board of Directors.
