2nd Hand Play
Start your morning with some coffee and a very special bridge lesson from NABC champion and ABTA master teacher, Kevin Wilson. The class covers trick-taking skills and defensive tactics. The lessons will be presented on BBO & Zoom. You will get access to four classes over consecutive weeks, a short write-up of examples, and video replays for each class to watch at your leisure.
Monday February 9th from 9:00 AM - 9:50 AM EST (GMT -5.0)
2nd Hand Play – The golden rule for second-hand play is developed and explained. This valuable rule will serve you for a lifetime of bridge play.
Monday February 16th from 9:00 AM - 9:50 AM EST (GMT -5.0)
More 2nd Hand Play – This class will provide additional examples and focus on covering honors with honors and when not to cover an honor with an honor.
Monday February 23rd from 9:00 AM -9:50 AM EST (GMT -5.0)
Splitting Honors – This second-hand play technique prevents the declarer from winning tricks cheaply and builds tricks for the defense.
Monday March 2nd from 9:00AM EST- 9:30 AM EST (GMT -5.0)
2nd Hand High – There are exceptions (only a few!) to the golden rule. It is worth an advanced level class to understand why there are exceptions and how to spot opportunities to play 2nd hand high on occasion.
One payment of $40 will get you access to all four lessons.
You will receive a confirmation email and instructions for the day of the event access. I will need your name, email address, and BBO name.
