  Membership Renewal Notice

You may renew your membership either using the form below or
by printing the Renewal Form and returning it to the Membership Secretary.
The annual membership is £20 or £10 for juniors under the age of 18. Payment is due on 1st September.
Membership will lapse if payment has not been received before the end of September.
Because of the new GDPR regulations it is essential that renewal is made either using the printed form or form below.

Cheques should be made payable to Exeter Bridge Club.
Bank account details: Exeter Bridge Club, sort code 309314 Account 02152900. Please put your name as the reference.
Cash and cheques should be paid directly to the Treasurer if possible.
The member collecting Table Money may also receive the renewal. In either case a receipt should be obtained.
Finally, please check your 'Account' details under the Members log in to ensure they are up to date.

Conditions of renewal which are required for Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) -

I agree that:

  • my telephone number and/or email address will be listed in the “Members Only” section of the Club website and be available to other members for the purposes only of internal communication.
  • my name and contact details including home address shall be available to the officers of the Club for the purposes only of internal communication regarding Club and related bridge activities.
  • the club will share my name and contact details with the English Bridge Union (the EBU) to allow communication by that organisation about bridge-related activities unless I have specifically requested that I be an “anonymous” member of the EBU (details available from the membership secretary).
  • my personal data may be otherwise used by club officers as detailed in the club data protection policy and privacy notice (available on request and below)
  • all personal data supplied by me shall be deleted by the Club as soon as practicable (normally within three months) following termination and/or non-renewal of my membership and the Club shall notify the EBU accordingly.

The EBU has issued a briefing to clubs about the new General Data Protection Regulation which came into force on 25 May 2018.
We have instituted policies and procedures to ensure we comply with this regulation (GDPR).
