Emsworth Bridge Club plays duplicate bridge every Tuesday evening at the Emsworth Sports & Social Club in Havant Road, Emsworth, Hants.

We are a friendly club with members who simply enjoy playing bridge.
New members and visitors are always welcome.

The Emsworth Bridge Club plays duplicate bridge on Tuesday evenings in a private room at the Emsworth Sports & Social Club. We play match point pairs starting at 7.00pm and usually play 24 boards in 3 hours.

The club runs a host system so that anyone can turn up without a partner and be guaranteed a game. It is quite normal for 2 or 3 players to take advantage of this facility when their regular partner is away. We welcome visitors - as pairs or singly - and there is plenty of room for new members.

The standard of play is typical for the average social bridge club and, whereas we welcome improving pairs, we cannot accommodate absolute beginners. There are no restrictions on systems that can be played but most pairs play one of the infinite variations of Acol.

The membership subscription is £10pa with table money of £3 per evening to cover the cost of room hire. Visitors pay £4 per evening.
