| Introduction to Crowborough Bridge Club |
 |
We are a relaxed and very friendly EBU affiliated club, comprised of players with a wide range of abilities - from newcomers to bridge to Grandmasters. Newcomers and visitors are welcome.
Conventions are mostly Acol. If you are unfamiliar with duplicate bridge, experienced players will be available to help you. There is no table money required for a visitor's first visit to the club.
Would visitors for all sessions and anyone seeking a partner please refer to the Information Section.

| AMBIENT TEMPERATURE AND VENTILATION |
IN ORDER TO MAINTAIN AIR FLOW IN THE BRIDGE ROOMS, IT IS ESSENTIAL THAT WINDOWS AND DOORS WILL BE OPENED AT TIMES. THIS BREEZE MAY SOMETIMES CAUSE A DROP IN TEMPERATURE, AND IT IS RECOMMENDED THAT THOSE WHO STRUGGLE WITH THIS BRING APPROPRIATE ADDITIONAL CLOTHING IN ORDER TO STAY COMFORTABLE.

The Club are happy to provide refreshments, however, it is recommended that personal mugs are brought for this. Paper cups will be made available, (although these are not recommended for hot drinks). Members are asked to consider the environment.

| STRAWBERRY PARTY |
The annual strawberry party will be held on Thursday 2nd July. If you would like to join us for this enjoyable afternoon, please sign up using the sheet on the Club noticeboard. Alternatively, contact Fran Fisher or Lynn McCormack directly, to confirm that you would like to attend.
Bridge will start at 13:30, as usual, with a break to enable us to enjoy some fresh strawberries. There will be hosts for this session, so it will be possible to play, even if you cannot arrange a partner prior to the day.
