Charity Competitions - hosted by the club, but organised to raise funds for other charities.

A packed Bridge room! Fantastic to see so many familiar faces at the club for this special event in memory of John.

It was an enjoyable afternoon of bridge with the added excitement of Bridge Bingo, and of course delicious home made cakes in the interval.

Thanks to everyone for turning out and giving so generously to a very worthy cause. Over £650 was raised for the British Heart Foundation.

Congratulations to Carolyn Fisher and Pat Watson who won the competitive section once all the results were in.

There was a technical problem with the scoring in the gentle section, but the overall winners were Bernice Haslegrave and Christian Muthiah; many congratulations to them.

Thanks to Maggs for organising and directing the event, to Jan Wade for serving refreshments, and to all those who so generously donated cakes and raffle prizes - you did John proud.
