Three Spires Trophy 2023/24 |
Sunday 21st April saw Coventry City come within a toenail of beating Mancheter United at Wembly. Back home in Coventry, the conclusion of the Three Spires competition saw another great home-cooked meal and final evening of friendly, competitive bridge.
Congratulations to Larry Lau & Mei Tso, who win the Trophy, with a final score of 46.0. The full results are available - the grey highlighted scores show the five best counted scores. A special thanks goes to Debbie Page for cooking the wonderful meals, assisted by Anne and Gail. Thanks to Alf for directing and thanks to everyone for participating in the event.

Pot Luck |
The 'Pot Luck' session is being held on Thursday 6pm, 2nd May, 2024. Remember, there is no need to come as a pair as partners will be drawn on the night. We play 18 - 21 boards. The aim is for a relaxed session for novices to experience playing with regular club players. To that end, the results will go up to the EBU but will not be graded and regular club players do not need to worry about their NGS being negatively impacted. As always, try to arrive 10 minutes before the start, so the pairs can be randomly selected! Enquiries to Email Sue O'Gorman

Cashless Payments |
We want to make payments and deductions as easy as possible, allowing us to concentrate on playing bridge. Whether you are playing in person, or online, your payment for the session will be handled electronically. C&NWBC uses BridgeWebs to record participation in games of bridge, which then results in deductions from your C&NWBC account balance.
The preferred method is via electronic advance payment, either an ad hoc bank transfer or a regular standing order to the bridge club account. Alternative methods of payment can be arranged with the Treasurer if necessary.
A single payment account can be used for a couple’s play at the club.
Full details are available at Cashless Payment Process (updated 1st April 2024).
