Coventry Pairs League |
The Coventry Pairs League is back. Organised with our county association, Warwickshire County Bridge Association.
The Coventry Pairs League will run on the fourth Thursday of the month (except in December when it is the third Thursday) across two five-month series from September to January and then February to June, with each pair playing every other pair in the division twice. It is IMP (teams) scoring (actually cross-imps because each pair scores with the other pairs sitting in the opposite direction within their division) converted into a Victory Points scale of 20-0. Between each series the bottom two pairs are relegated and top two pairs promoted within the divisional structure.
Entry is now open for this event - (click Coventry Pairs League Autumn 2022 flier). In addition to entering as a pair, substitute players or pairs are always needed.
If you are interested in entering, or being a substitute, then please let us know (Email the organisers).

RealBridge sessions for Coventry members |
Unfortunately, with the introduction of the Griffins Trophy sessions on alternate Monday evenings, our weekly Monday afternoon session has understandably seen a dip in player numbers. Therefore, from June, when there is a Monday evening Griffins Trophy match, there will be no Monday afternoon RealBridge session.
We continue to run two sessions:
Alternate Monday afternoon sessions 2pm (18-20 boards - Duplicate) - With Host - see the Calendar Month page
Weekly Wednesday evening 7pm (20 boards - Duplicate)
Log in at least 10 minutes before the start time please.
To start click on the RealBridge login on the 'Calendar' items on the right of this page. Or use 'Calendar Month' page link, where you can 'Find a Partner' too.
RealBridge is played in 42 countries worldwide, using 12 languages. You are never too old to start, there is a lady aged 106 who plays on RealBridge. If you have not tried then please give it a go. For further details please contact: Email Ann Ridgway or Tel: 024 7647 3893
