Thinking about Playing Bridge ... |
If you like a game of cards, like a new puzzle to solve and fancy meeting some new people, Bridge might just be for you.
People learn the game in many ways. Maybe you've played a bit before, maybe you've played other games. Lessons are a great start, to learn the basics and establish partnerships and friendships with others learning the game too. Others might want to read a little to get the basics. Playing the game in Assisted Play sessions, or Gentle Bridge sessions move things on from theory to actually playing the game. Mistakes and triumphs are all part of the pleasure!
We're a friendly club. Details of where we play, when and how much it costs are available in Club Information, When and Where for CNWBC

Assisted Play |
There is no one approach to learning Bridge. Lessons, reading books are all good, and suit some people better than others. However, with the basics absorbed, actually playing some hands of Bridge, making some mistakes, and having a few triumphs are all the better! 'Assisted Play' and 'Gentle Bridge' sessions are a great way to learn and enjoy the game too.
Assisted Play sessions take place on Tuesday mornings. See the Calender Month page.
