Welcome to The Strettons Bridge Club
27 March: normal duplicate + SSBTL Finals

On Thursday 27 March the Club will meet as usual for its weekly duplicate Bridge session.  In addition (and in separate areas) the finals of the South Shropshire Bridge Teams League will be held with four teams competing, representing Strettons BC (2 teams), Wrekin BC, and Ludlow U3A BC.  The two events will operate in parallel and will not affect each other.
No Bridge on 1 May.

The hall is being used for polling in the local elections.

The Teams event (the first of its kind held by the club) was won by the team of Richard, Yvonne, Patricia and Wendy with a healthy net score of 99 IMPs. Second were Dom, Jeff, Shin & Mary on 57 IMPs.
Learning (Beginners and Improvers) - suspended

 FREE tuition  open to EVERYONE (not just SBC).  £3 per session (to cover venue & refreshments)

 All sessions suspended  pending demand (contact Dom if interested)

Sessions may be resumed in 2025 subject to viability

THE CLUB

You are very welcome at our club!
The STRETTONS BRIDGE CLUB meets every Thursday at 1.00 in All Stretton Village Hall for a relaxed, enjoyable and informal session of duplicate bridge.  We welcome players of all levels, including beginners, so long as you know the basics (and if you don't but would like to, see "Learning and Improving").  Feel free to bring crib notes or ask Dom or Martin for advice at any stage during the bidding or play.  No need to bring a partner - we have a host system.

Welcome to Our Club!

PARTNERS: We run a "host" system, whereby there will always be a member available to play with you even if you turn up without a partner. If you want to make use of this system, please turn up by 12:50 so that partners can be found and the director able to set up the right movement.

A friendly, informal club where some of us are beginners.

We are happy to offer advice (on request) at any stage.
