We run a hybrid F2F and Online programme of bridge tournaments for Carlton members, friends and visitors. Please see below for details of the regular tournament schedule.
We welcome all levels of bridge player. Our custom built, fully accessible bridge centre is an excellent playing, teaching and social facility. Tournaments are scored using interactive technology with results available promptly. Our in-house catering team, Westmains Catering, provide a range of soups, sandwiches and fabulous baked goods with teas, coffees, soft drinks and selection of beers, wines and spirits also available.

You can turn up for the Tuesday Novice and Wednesday Bronze afternoon tournaments with or without a partner or signing up.
Visitors can sign up using the name CBC Visitor01 or CBC Visitor02, or email web@carltonbridge.co.uk and I can do that for you.

All BBO tournaments have a Partnership Desk. If you register there, you have a good chance of getting a game either with somebody else looking for a partner or as a sub (a free game).
To take part in BBO tournaments you need to join BBO and register your username at online@carltonbridge.co.uk For the award of masterpoints, members should also update their MemPad account with their BBO name
If you need help joining a tournament, contact the TD via BBO and they will be glad to assist you.

 Classes for the 2026/27 season will commence end September.
Improvers with Ross (right) Mondays 28th Sep - 30th Nov, 11th Jan - 15th Mar, 12th Apr - 14th June.
Beginners with Alison Tuesdays 29th Sep - 1st Dec, 12th Jan - 16th Mar, 13th Apr - 15th June. (£5 per lesson, no need to sign up for a whole term)
The Tuesday Novice Tournament with Elizabeth has a lesson on the first Tuesday of the month (no class July or August)
The next lesson is September 8th, topic TBA.
Play & Learn, relaxed guided play with board commentary, Thursdays 13:30 until end June, restarting October.
