The Thea Teale Pairs is the SBU National Pairs tournament for Bronze ranked players.  You must be bronze ranked on November 1st.  Those promoted after this date are eligible to play.  You can check your rank on the SBU masterpoint system MEMPAD, with your club secretary or the SBU.

There will be heats in selected bridge clubs across Scotland. Some clubs require that players register.

Any Bronze SBU member can play in any of the heats.  These will be played in Aberdeen Bridge Club; Ayrshire Bridge Centre; Dundee Bridge Club  New Melville Bridge Club, Edinburgh;  Highland (probably Ness Club) and possibly also Oban Bridge Club; Stirling Bridge Club and Glasgow. Bridge Centre.

Approximately 24 boards will be played. 3 National (red) Points to the winners with awards to the top third of the field.

The SBU Ranked Pairs are Sunday December 1st. The Kennedy, for Novice and Club masters is on BBO, the remainder, from Local to Grand Masters are F2F at either the Dundee Bridge Club or the New Melville Bridge Club. Full details on the SBU Tournament page... HERE

This season the Club Cup is being held on the last Tuesday evenings of October/ November/ January and February.

The Club Cup is the Carlton pairs championship with a handicapped category for the Harry Stein Cup.

Sign up and partner search is available via the Calendar. Your best 3 scores, with the same partner, count towards the final result.

You can turn up for the Tuesday Novice and Wednesday Bronze afternoon tournaments with or without a partner or signing up.

Visitors can sign up using the name CBC Visitor01 or CBC Visitor02, or email web@carltonbridge.co.uk and I can do that for you.

Online Tournaments, on BBO:

All BBO tournaments have a Partnership Desk. If you register there, you have a good chance of getting a game either with somebody else looking for a partner or as a sub (a free game). 

To take part in BBO tournaments you need to join BBO and register your username at online@carltonbridge.co.uk.
