MINUTES AGM 2918

MINUTES OF THE CAMPOSOL BRIDGE CLUB ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING HELD ON THE 23rd MARCH 2018  at 9.15 AT THE TREVI BAR.

CHAIRMANS REPORT

The Chairman thanked everyone for attending and stated that an apology for absence has been received from Trevor Worthu¡y.

She then asked the meeting to agree the Minutes of the last meeting  They were proposed by Tony Day and seconded by Joe Hayes.

She stated that it had been a good year with great awaydays and helpful members.   She stated that sadly we had lost Bernie Wood recently and he was missed.  During his membership he had been Chairman and had been a great deal of help and achieved a lot for the club.

 

TREASURERS REPORT

The accounts had been checked by Joe Hayes as auditor and signed by himself and the Treasurer.

The Treasurer stated that we had made a loss of just over 794 euros mainly due to subsiding awaydays.

 

ELECTION OF OFFICERS

Chairman - Iris Baker   Proposed Ken Fisher  Seconded  Irene Willmore

Vice Chairmsn - Tony Day  Proposed  Iris Baker  Seconded  Irene Willmore

Treasurer  -  Barry Baker Proposed Irene Willmore  Seconded Ken Fisher

Committee Member -  Anne Aase  -  Proposed Iris Baker  Seconded Ken Fisher

All officers were agreed unanimously.

 

A.O.B.   A proposal was put to the membership to merge Camposol Bridge Club with Mazarron Bay Bridge Club.  This was proposed by Iris Baker and Seconded by Barry Baker.  A vote was taken which included postal votes and was agree by 35 votes to 3.

Tony Day proposed that a "dummy" was allowed when it prevented a sit out.  This was seconded by Joe Hayes and a vote of 12 to 8 for was given.

There being no further business the meeting closed at 9.35
