Our annual Swiss Pairs Competition took place on Sunday 15th February with 24 Pairs taking part.
The winners were Rod Oakford (seen on the left) and Ian Henley from the Cambridge Bridge Club closely followed by Jeff Orton and Noel Mullen, with David and Helen coming 3rd.

We are:
Trialling a partner hosting service so if your regular partner is away and you haven’t been able to sort out a replacement, you can still turn up on the evening and have a game. More details to follow.
Aiming for a special event on one Thursday evening each month. This building upon the ever-popular Anne Nunn Trophy and Swiss Pairs. Chairman’s Cup coming soon. Includes inviting Abbeygate, Risbygate, and Stansfield to establish friendly team matches with us.
Providing further support to the enthusiastic and growing community of intermediate players including a few teach-in sessions before play and mentoring to help people into the club and gain tips (but not their bad habits!) from more experienced players
Starting a library of Bridge books. Please hunt out any bridge books you have sitting gathering dust on bookshelves at home that you would like to share.

We are a friendly duplicate Bridge Club welcoming new and visiting players, meeting every Thursday evening at Southgate Community Centre, Caie Walk, Bury St Edmunds, IP33 2PJ.
Please arrive at 6:45 for 6:50 pm start. We aim to finish promptly by 10pm.
We also play on Wednesday evening on RealBridge starting at 7:30 pm

Once on the home page you will need to fill in your name and your EBU membership number in the ID box and then join a table opposite your partner if they are already there, if not click on an empty space.
Three more points to make note of:
- Use Chrome rather than Edge as your browser as RealBridge works better on Chrome
- If you lose connection, refresh or leave and log back in again
- If necessary you can control the volume of players by using the mic symbol to the right of a persons name
The charge for each session is £2.00 and you will be billed by Joan our Treasurer who will send you an email every 2 months.

| ANNE NUNN TROPHY |
The Anne Nunn Trophy event was held together with our AGM on Thursday June 20th and attracted a good turnout of 10.5 tables. It was a hard fought competition with Dennis Valtisiaris and Josh Santinelli-Clarke emerging as clear winners.
