Two separate competitions are operated - a Summer Pairs Championship competition and a Winter Pairs Championship competition.

A qualifying period of 23 events [or as close to that number as possible] is determined for each competition, indicated by SPC / WPC in the calendar.  Simultaneous Pairs events and other club competitions are excluded.

In each competition, the minimum number of attendances required to qualify is 10.  Each pair’s 10 best results will be used to calculate an average score.  

The qualifying periods are:

2022/23 Summer Pairs Championship - 3 May 2022 to 11 October 2022, inclusive.

2022/23 Winter Pairs Championship - 18 October 2022 to 18 April 2023, inclusive. 

2023/24 Summer Pairs Championship - 2 May 2023 to 10 October 2023, inclusive.

2023/24 Winter Pairs Championship - 24 October 2023 to 16 April 2024, inclusive. 

2024/25 Summer Pairs Championship - 30 April 2024 to 8 October 2024, inclusive.

2024/25 Winter Pairs Championship - 15 October 2024 to 15 April 2025, inclusive. 

This trophy is awarded to the member with the best individual performance over the qualifying period, excluding other Club Competitions and Simultaneous Pairs events. The minimum number of attendances to qualify is twenty-five.

For the 2022/23 competition, the qualifying period is 3 May 2022 to 18 April 2023.

For the 2023/24 competition, the qualifying period is 2 May 2023 to 16 April 2024.

For the 2024/25 competition, the qualifying period is 330 April 2024 to 15 April 2025.

For the 2024/25 year, a prize will be awarded to the person who earns the highest number of points over the qualifying period in a new "slams bid & made" competition. One point will be awarded for each small slam bid & made, and three points for each grand slam. The qualifying period is 23 April 2024 to 15 April 2025.
