"The Summer Bridge Simultaneous Pairs has taken place,
with Clubs in England, Scotland and Wales holding heats,
writes Julian Pottage, Bridge Correspondent.
On the Tuesday session, 52 clubs held a heat and 814 pairs competed"
of which Jo Copping and Christine Forbes
reached a very close SECOND with a fantastic 68.77%

An attentive audience of 20 members listened to the committee's reports
with quite a few innovations to the Club's rules and regulations introduced, happily and unanimously accepted.
A jolly crowd of 29 players gathered for our Annual Christmas Party on 18th December 2018,
skillfully guided through their "Individual Movement" format by Rex Acton (r)

The Club has moved up in the world ...
from the elegant downstairs dining-room into the light and airy space of the BRFC facilities upstairs
When the Competition started in 2001 Jo Copping and Chris Forbes were the very first winners
of the Brecon Bridge Club.
Now - in February 2018 - they have won the Claret Jug for the EIGHTH time.
