Welcome to the Bradshaw Bridge Club web site
The Bradshaw Bridge Club is a very friendly bridge club that meets on most Tuesday evenings and most Wednesday afternoons for duplicate pairs bridge, though very occasionally we play teams.
We meet at the Maiden Place Community Centre, Lower Earley, Reading, RG6 3HE on:
Tuesday evenings: 6.15 p.m. for 6.45 until 9.45 p.m.
Wednesday afternoons: 1.30 p.m. for 1.45 until 4.30 p.m.
The club uses Bridgemates and so the movement is fixed at 1.40 pm and 6.40 pm respectively. Directors will normally not allow players to take part if both members of the pair are not seated by 1.40 pm or 6.40 pm.
With exceptions made for people with special needs - seating positions and tables are allocated randomly by drawing a card on arrival.
Bridge playing visitors are welcome (but there is no host system) and membership of the club is available.
Visitors: please note that if we reach our maxium table capacity members have priority.
The Club is affiliated to the English Bridge Union. EBU Masterpoints are awarded at most Club evenings and will be credited directly, approximately every four weeks.
The Club is also a member of the Berks & Bucks Contract Bridge Association. We enter 1 team into the Berks & Bucks League of 8, and a team of 4 in the Bracknell league.
