The Paul Evans Memorial Swiss Pairs will be held on Wednesday 8th July 2026.
The start time will be 7.15pm as usual. This is a members only event.
Would those wishing to enter this event please complete the form below.

| End of an Era |
John Morrell, a stalwart of the club is leaving us, moving southward to be closer to family. John has been a member of the club since 1966, almost 60 years. He served as a member of the committee and for a period was the club President (1975). John has been a formidable player in his time representing the club and Lancashire County on numerous occasions.
In recognition of his outstanding contribution to the club John has been granted Honorary Life Membership.
We thank him for his service and wish him well for the future in his new home.

| Austin Barnes Ladder 2026 |
The 2026 Austin Barnes Ladder is now complete. This was for the best 8 of 11 scores from Feb 2 to Apr 13. The open competition was won by Stuart Norris for the fourth successive year! The handicapped competition was won by Alan Whittam.

| Championship Pairs Saturday 11th April 2026 at 2pm |
♠ The annual Bolton BC Championship Pairs was held on Saturday 11th April. There were 20 Pairs to enjoy the bridge, the Grand National and an excellent buffet meal. Winners were J Smith & M Nicholson, 2nd S Fanning & A Whittam, Handicap winners B Matthews & A Cafferky and J & Y Sandbrook.

| Bolton Individual Wed 11 March 2026 |
The annual Bolton Club Individual was held on 11th March 2026 at the Club. As usual, all players were playing the same system Ref: Individual System. There were 25 players at the event.
