| General Information about the club |
WELCOME TO THE BIRCHES BRIDGE CLUB
We play duplicate bridge every Monday evening and Wednesday afternoon at Much Birch Community Hall (HR2 8HT). On Mondays play begins at 7.00pm, and finishes no later than 10.30pm, however please arrive by 6.45pm, to allow for the setting up of the computer. On Wednesdays play begins at 2.00pm, finishing approximately 5.15pm, and please arrive by 1.45pm.
We use duplimated boards and Bridgemates, and EBU points are awarded. Tea, coffee and snacks are served in the interval free of charge. Session money is £3 (£4 for visitors), and there's a £5 annual subscription.

This year's No Fear Pairs organised by Herefordshire Bridge Association will be held on Saturday 7th March at Much Birch Community Hall starting at 1:30pm. The entry fee is £10 per pair and please arrive at 1.15pm for a prompt start.
This competition is intended for players with little or no experience of bridge competitions outside of their bridge club. As such there are restrictions as to entry based on Master Points and National Grading Scheme (NGS). It is an ideal opportunity for players with some experience of County competitions to partner with someone with no such experience.
The pairs must have an average NGS ranking of 9 or less (that is a combined NGS grade that does not exceed 106%) and every player must have a master point ranking lower than Regional Master.
(Note: non EBU members automatically meet this criteria.)
Like all HBA restricted events, non-EBU members and members of other counties are invited to enter
(with no dual membership fee).

Account No 00325024, Sort Code 30-94-14, with “No Fear Pairs” in the reference field.

| Members Only Area |
 The Members Only area of this website is open to all members of the club. To sign in to it, click on Members Area in the menu on the left, enter your email address and click on "Forgotten Password". Then check your email (including your Junk mail folder, just in case it has gone there) and enter the password in the email from Birches Bridge Club. And hey presto, you should be in the Members Area.

| Gentle Bridge at Birches starts again 2pm Tuesday 7th April |
Gentle Bridge will start again on Tuesday 7th April 2026, after the lessons have finished.
Timing is 2-4pm and the session will be hosted so there is no need to come with a partner.
