The 2024 U3a Bridge Congress will be hosted by Belfast U3a on Friday, 4th October 2024. It will be held in the Balmoral Hotel, Black’s Road, Belfast BT10 0ND [www.balmoralhotelbelfast.co.uk tel: 02890301234]
9.45am – 10.30am Registration (tea/coffee and scones)
10.30am – 1.00pm First Bridge Session
1.00pm - 2.00pm Lunch (Finger Buffet and tea/coffee)
2.00pm - 4.00pm Second Bridge Session
4.00pm - 4.30pm Prize-giving and Close
The cost for the day (to include tea/coffee, scones, lunch, bridge and prizes) will be £24.00
Numbers are limited to 100 – U3a members only. Entries will be accepted on a first come basis. Partners are required. Registration will start on Monday 12th August and end on Friday 13th September (we need to finalise numbers for the hotel). The entrance fee must be paid at the time of registration.
The preferred payment method is by cheque. Please make the cheque payable to Belfast U3a and write “Congress” on the back. Post the cheque, along with your full contact details (email address and / or phone number) to Jim McDonnell, 75 Garvey Manor, Lisburn, BT27 4DQ. Also include the name of your U3a, the name of your playing partner and any special dietary or other requirements.
