| FANCY A GAME OF BRIDGE ? |
We play two sessions each week at
Gilroyd Social Club, Saville Road, Barnsley S75 3PX
on
Monday Afternoons starting at 1.00pm until approximately 3.30pm
and
Wednesday Evenings starting at 7.00pm until approx. 10.00pm
We aim to play around 24 boards on Mondays and 28 boards on Wednesdays
ALL LEVELS OF PLAYERS ARE MOST WELCOME TO JOIN US
AND WE ALSO HAVE DISABLED ACCESS AND FACILITIES
In addition we play online on Fridays 18.45 - 21.00. everyone welcome

Can we please remind all Members that they should be seated and ready to play
at least 10 minutes before the scheduled start time
to give the TD and scorer sufficient time to set up the movement.
In accordance with EBU guidelines and recommendations
all movements with up to 4 tables, and most sessions with HALF tables,
will normally be HOWELL movements to help minimise sit out times.
Sessions with five or more FULL tables will normally be MITCHELL movements.
However the scorer ALWAYS has the disretion to choose a movement which they
consider to be most suitable having taken into account factors such as
the size of the group, time constaints and potential sit out times.
Whichever movement is chosen should be accepted
without challenge please by everyone present at the session.
