| January Charity SIM Pairs |
The ECATS January SIM Pairs is to raise funds for UNICEF and we will be supporting the event at all our sessions on Tuesday 24/1/23 and Wednesday 25/1/23.

TUESDAY EVENINGS FACE-TO-FACE IS NOW HOSTED
We'll have a host at face-to-face evenings so it doesn't matter if your usual partner is not available. You can still enjoy a game of bridge as usual!
We will start play at 6:45 so please be seated and ready by 6:40 at the absolute latest.
Each Tuesday, we aim to play the same hands as the online session taking place at the same time. From the end of November, we will show a combined set of results on the club website, though the information for the two sessions will still be sent separately to the EBU.
Parking is very limited at The Medway so please car share and/or park in town if at all possible. If you have mobility issues, please let us know and we will reserve a space for you.

| Online Alerting |
Alerting online in BBO is significantly different from face to face. We've written a guide under “Guidance for Playing” in our menu (on the left on a computer and at the top of the screen on a phone).
In summary, you alert all non-natural bids, not just up to 3NT, and you ALERT YOUR OWN BIDS.
Please also remember to give a summary of your system in the chat at the beginning of a round, have a summary on your profile, and post a convention card.
