| DUPLICAKE OVER CHRISTMAS |
The Committee has just been advised that we are unable to host sessions at the Sussex Pub for the next 2 Wednesdays in December. As the Club is then closed until the New Year, this means that the next Duplicake session, will be on Wednesday, 3rd January, 2024.
We would ask that Members pass on this message to anyone they know who is without email.
We are extremely sorry for this unexpected turn of events, and will seek to make up for this in the New Year.
In the meantime, we hope to see as many of you as possible, at the Christmas Party, on Monday, 18th December, at the Brighton and Hove Social Club.

| CLUB MOVE |
Brighton and Hove Social Club, 16 Lewes Road, BN2 3HP

As of Monday 9th October we are going to Brighton and Hove Social Club which is on the Lewes Road at the bottom of Elm Grove. Some of you will know the building as the old Labour Club.It is large inside, old fashioned but clean, two bars, lift and we would be in the function room on the first floor.
Parking is pay and display or residents’ permit and has to be searched for in the side streets. Trinity Street is the first road left off Lewes Road after the BHSC. There is also pay and display at The Levels which is a couple of minutes walk along Lewes Road.
There are lots of buses along Lewes Road and the Elm Grove bus stop going out of town is outside the BHSC door. Estimated journey time from Tesco in Church Road is 30 minutes.

Classes for the Autumn term are well under way. These lessons are normally held at – St Andrews Church Hall – Church Road, Hove BN3 2AD
We also have some free taster sessions for beginners in Hove Library. Please encourage friends, family, neighbours to give it a go if they express interest,

If you are a member and are seeking a partner you can go into the Members Area and tick the event(s) you wish to find a partner for. This includes all the BBO online games that the club runs at the moment.
Once you have confirmed your request, an entry will appear against the calendar entry for that event with a question mark against it.
Looking at it the other way round, you can of course check to see who else is looking for a game by clicking on the question mark if there is one on the calendar entry.
