What a weird result this week - 6 pairs in 3 places - I don't remember that happening before.  This week it is well done to Julie & Helen also Peter & Sylvia - both pairs in joint 1st place.

I'm away for 2 weeks now to continue our narrowboat journey back to Market Drayton mooring - after her being stranded near Stockport for a month due to a damaged lock.  I will be back in 3 week's time all being well, meanwhile Linda Murray and/or Chris & Paul Quinlan will be officiating - have fun everyone.

Bridge at Ashley works on the principle that we play bridge for fun and have fun playing bridge.

We run a Gentle Duplicate Bridge evening, where unintentional errors are tactfully rectified, although the club must adhere to the rules of duplicate.  If anyone is unsure of any rules of duplicate, please ask for clarification.
