Club Information |
 |

The ABCD Bridge Club meets on a Friday afternoon in the light and airy Garden Room of Henfield Hall between 2:00 pm and 5:00 pm. There is ample parking opposite the Hall which allows players to park nearby. We play duplicate bridge, normally getting through around 24 boards in the three-hour session.
Our 'table money' is £2.00 for members and £4:00 for non-members. NOTE: There is a voucher system in place and members will be required to pay for their session using vouchers. Refreshments are included within the table money for each session.
The annual membership is £10:00. We are a non-profit making club and only look to cover our operating costs.
We play in a very friendly atmosphere and we are not affiliated to the EBU.
If you don't have a partner we will try to find one for you; please refer to the appropriate menu item down the left-hand side of this home page.
The website provides each member/visitor with a host of information regarding the ABCD Bridge Club. The results page shows the ranking of each player following the Friday sessions. It also provides a breakdown of the scores for all hands played and the relative positions of players for each board.

Face-to-face Bridge Sessions |
Your safety
In order to keep us all as safe as possible we require all players to have had both vaccinations and the booster jab.
Also, we ask that you refrain from attending if you have, or suspect you have, any known Covid symptoms.
We will not be checking every individual but we trust that all players, in the interests of protecting the vulnerable, will advise the Director if this is not the case before attempting to play.
Furthermore, now that we all need to be more vigilant because of the rapid spread of the latest Covid variant, we have to point out the following:
1) Face Coverings
Govenment guidelines have been relaxed and the wearing of face coverings is no longer required.
2) Kitchen Facilities
We will continue to use the kitchen so tea and biscuits will be available. However, please be careful when using these facilities.
4) Hand Sanitisers
We will continue to have these available on the tables. We recommend they are continued to be used regularly.
