Bury St Edmunds Bridge Club has an improver group at Southgate Community Centre every Thursday evening, running alongside their regular club duplicate, with friendly advice and support for new players.
Stansfield Bridge Club, "Suffolk's Jolliest Bridge Club" meets at Stansfield Village Hall every Thursday evening. Very sociable club welcoming players of all abilities. Half time break for drinks and nibbles

| Josh's 'All Things No-Trump' Mini Course |

Hi there, Josh here and I'm very excited to announce my upcoming short (but sweet!) course 'All Things No-Trump!'
During the course we'll be looking at bidding no-trump contracts with more accuracy, dealing with interference, techniques when declaring no-trumps, dealing with pitfalls, and successfully defending no-trump contracts as well. All wrapped up in a mini 5-week package!
The course will run on Fridays between the 22nd May and the 19th June, starting at 1:45pm and finishing at 4pm each session at Nowton Court.
Details & Sign Up
We start with topic of the week, I will give examples, and then go through 8 boards with analysis of the bidding and play of each. Come along with a partner if you wish but you are more than welcome to attend by yourself and we'll find you a weekly match.
The cost of the course is £50 per person including all the course materials. If there is a session or two you can't attend, catch up sessions can be arranged separately from the main sessions at no extra cost, just get in touch to arrange them.
Refreshments and biscuits will be provided for each session.

Learning Bridge at Abbeygate
Interested in learning bridge? Or perhaps you're new to the area or want to play more? We welcome established players or newcomers at Abbeygate, playing duplicate bridge at Nowton Court every Tuesday and Wednesday evening.
Tuesday is our regular club night, and Wednesday is a more relaxed session for beginners and improvers. We'd very much like to hear from potential beginners - we are thinking of offering a beginners' course if there is enough interest. Abbeygate Bridge Club is running its online Club nights on RealBridge on Monday evenings at 7 pm.
These events are open to Abbeygate members only and table money will be £2.50, for which you will be invoiced later.
