| About the club |
Welcome to the website of 2021 Duplicate Bridge Club (2021DBC). Established only in 2021, the club was founded by Pamela Heale to provide afternoon duplicate bridge for players in Tavistock and surrounding districts. We currently meet in the upstairs meeting room at Tavistock Community Football Club, Crowndale Road, Tavistock on Friday afternoons. Please arrive no later than 1.45pm which allows the director to plan the afternoon’s movement.
The club runs a host system which allows any member to turn up on their own knowing they are guaranteed a game. As a rule we usually have 6-8 tables. Current membership numbers are at a maximum but if you wish to join please contact our secretary who will be able to update you on this - the situation is inevitably fluid and can change quite quickly.
Although we are not affiliated to the EBU we do aspire to following its guidelines. Please refer to the links to the EBU in this website to familiarise yourself with these. We pride ourselves on being very friendly and welcoming - as should every Bridge Club.

| Length of our session |
The hall is booked for 3 hours. We do not have a break but do have to set the tables etc up and clear up afterwards. This means that we tend to have 22-25 boards rather than 25-28.
Members are expected, if able, to get there a little early to help set up. And of course help clear up afterwards. Many hands make light work!
