1989 Bridge Club Privacy Notice
The data we routinely collect includes members’ names, addresses, email address, telephone numbers and details of Next of Kin. We collect this data directly from our members when they join the club and at such other times as required. The data is used for the administration of your membership and to allow communication of information.
The information is stored in the form of your original Application form and electronically on the Secretary’s computer. Contact details are not available to the general public or outside bodies. Names, email and telephone numbers are restricted to the Members Only Section of the website, this is password protected and maintained by the Website Administrator. If you do not wish for your details to be included on the website you should contact the Club Secretary The Membership Secretary maintains a copy, including addresses, for the Committee and Almoner solely for the purpose of contact.
We collect the scores from games you play, which are displayed on our results page, which are open to the general public. This information only shows names and is electronically sent to Scorebridge (Internet based scoring system). A hard copy of the weekly results is held in a blue folder at the Club for those who do not have access to the internet.
