Welcome to the 1989 Bridge Club website.  The aim of the Club is to play competitive duplicate bridge in a friendly atmosphere.  We have a membership of 60 people and generally between 6-9 tables per week.

The  Club was formed in September 1989 and for many years our meetings were held at St Mary’s Church Hall in Reigate.  When that hall was being rebuilt in 2012 we moved to the Reigate Community Centre attached to the Methodist Church in Reigate High Street and have remained there ever since.

We meet every Thursday evening.  Play commences at 7.30pm but we ask members to arrive early to help set up tables and chairs and to deal boards before the start of play. We also ask that members are seated no later than 7.15pm so that the Director can arrange the movement. There had been a tea break for ten minutes half way through the evening but this has been dropped in favour of continuous play, thereby allowing more boards to be played.

Visitors are always welcome and the club would be happy to increase the membership.  We ask you to come along for three sessions to see if you would enjoy our club and would like to join.

Application Forms are available. Click on the box immediately below.

New members joining fee is £10 and Annual Subs. are £15 pro rated for people who join after the 1st October.subscrip
