MINUTES OF THE BELMONT BRIDGE CLUB COMMITTEE MEETING HELD ON

17^TH OCTOBER 2016 AT THE BELMONT BOWLING CLUB.

MEETING OPENED.         At 1pm

ATTENDANCE    Dennis Forsythe, Anne Fletcher, Alan Lehrle. Pam Ingham, Jack Carson, Anne Reilly

APOLOGIES        Pattye Laing

MINUTES OF THE PREVIOUS MEETING WAS READ—Anne Fletcher moved they be received seconded Dennis Forsythe.

BUSINESS ARISING- Pam Ingham and Jack Carson spoke to their respective Legal friends and each agreed that there was no need for the Club to Incorporate at this time.

CORRESPONDENCE INWARDS- There was a letter regarding Corporation  details.

TREASURER- Alan Lehrle  presented  the financial details of the club ( see attached copy) and at present there is a balance of $2060.00 in the accounts.

GENERAL BUSINESS

1. Anne Fletcher moved that Dennis Forsythe and Alan Lehrle be sponsored by the Belmont Bridge Club to sit for the Director’s Course in November. Seconded Anne Reilly motion was carried
2. Anne Reilly moved that the Belmont Bridge Financial year end on the 31^st October this was seconded by Alan Lehrle  all was in favour motion was carried. As a result the Annual General Meeting will be held on the 12^th December with all Audited  Financial  Accounts being presented  at the AGM.

All of the committee positions for the coming year  will be notified to the club during November  with the closing off date as to the 5^th December 2016 at 1.pm.

1. Programmes for the year of 2017 will be organise by President Dennis there will be 4 of 3 week events one which will be a President Cup event which will be a red point and one other event as a red point event.
2. The Christmas Party will be on the same day as the Annual General Meeting all will be asked to bring a plate
3. Club Vouchers will be purchased to the value of $20 each week as lucky door prizes on the  day of each game in appreciation to the Belmont Bowling Clubs support of the Bridge Club]

    

4. A committee to establish a Constitution and By Laws for the club will be set up those being  Jack Carson, Pam Ingham and Dennis Forsythe . These people will report back to the next meeting.

    

5. Meeting closed at 2.45pm

    

6. Next meeting will be held on  28^th November.
