Wednesday Afternoon Pairs |
NEW - Afternoon Pairs in Bakewell
Starting on 8th May, we will be running a weekly face to face session on Wednesday afternoons at The Medway.
Play will start at 2pm so please be there by 1:45 to ensure a prompt start.
This will be a relaxed game with a tea/coffee break halfway through.
But, it will be "proper bridge" run by a TD with the results uploaded to the EBU and eligible for Masterpoints.
There will be a host so don't worry if you don't have a partner - we'll pair you up with someone.
Hope to see you there on 8th May and as many of the following Wednesdays as possible.

CONSTITUTION UPDATE |
Following the Special General Meeting held on 4th July, the club's constitution has been updated to reflect the two-tier membership arrangements that were approved at the AGM in June. The new constitution can be found in the menu (on the left on a computer and near the top on a mobile device) under "Club Information".

Online Alerting |
Alerting online in BBO is significantly different from face to face. We've written a guide under “Guidance for Playing” in our menu (on the left on a computer and at the top of the screen on a phone).
In summary, you alert all non-natural bids, not just up to 3NT, and you ALERT YOUR OWN BIDS.
Please also remember to give a summary of your system in the chat at the beginning of a round, have a summary on your profile, and post a convention card.
