Gentle Bridge |
We hold Gentle Bridge sessions at The Medway on Friday afternoons.
The sessions are relaxed and sociable with plenty of time for discussion, and everyone is welcome. They're particularly suitable for less experienced players as there's always help available. It can be a useful place for new partnerships wanting to agree what systems they will play. We can access the room from 2:30 and it would be helpful if players were seated by 2:45 so that play can begin by 3pm at the latest.

Club News - Tuesday evening F2F |
TUESDAY EVENING HOSTING FULLY OPERATIONAL
We now have a rota of hosts fully established. So, if you want to play in our face-to-face session but don't have a partner, please do come along. We will be able to pair you with someone so you can have a full evening's bridge with us. There's no need to let us know in advance.
We will start play at 6:45 so please be seated and ready by 6:40 at the absolute latest.
Parking is very limited at The Medway so please car share and/or park in town if at all possible. If you have mobility issues, please let us know and we will reserve a space for you.

CONSTITUTION UPDATE |
Following the Special General Meeting held on 4th July, the club's constitution has been updated to reflect the two-tier membership arrangements that were approved at the AGM in June. The new constitution can be found in the menu (on the left on a computer and near the top on a mobile device) under "Club Information".

Online Alerting |
Alerting online in BBO is significantly different from face to face. We've written a guide under “Guidance for Playing” in our menu (on the left on a computer and at the top of the screen on a phone).
In summary, you alert all non-natural bids, not just up to 3NT, and you ALERT YOUR OWN BIDS.
Please also remember to give a summary of your system in the chat at the beginning of a round, have a summary on your profile, and post a convention card.
