 Seminar—April 2026—Getting the Basics Right |
Getting the Basics Right Seminar on Wednesday 17 April approximately 2.00–5.00pm.
This seminar goes right back to basics and reiterates many basic principles governing how you should describe your hand accurately in the auction. It will be particularly useful for those who came to bridge through informal routes rather than a structured series of lessons, or those whose bridge knowledge needs some updating.

The Young Chelsea’s two‑session Mixed Pairs takes place on Sunday 19 April, starting at 1.00pm and finishing around 6.00pm.
Each session has 18 deals and there will be a short refreshment break for tea/coffee and cakes (included in the entry fee).

The Opening Lead is the most important card played by the defence. It is the beginning of the communication between defenders that is essential for a successful defence. This seminar will help you choose the right card more often and get that vital communication off on the right track.
