Standings Previous Ladders
Information
The March 2023 ladder runs from Thursday 2 March to Friday 31 March inclusive. Monday evening, Thursday afternoon and Friday evening duplicate sessions count towards the ladder and you need to play in at least four of these duplicates to qualify. In a departure from previous ladders, scoring is by IMPs with your best total of four positive scores, provided that at least one of the scores is from a Monday duplicate. Otherwise, only your best three scores count, which means you may still win but your chances are poorer.
For ladder calculations on sessions scored by matchpoints instead of cross‑IMPs, your percentage is converted to IMPs employing the same formula as the EBU uses for NGS.
The winner will receive a hamper or equivalent to the value of around £50.
There will also be a smaller prize for the best score by a non‑expert player (defined as one with an NGS of 10 or below).
