In this corner of the website, our very own Iain Crockatt will (on a regular basis) offer up a hand from a club session that he reckons some of you might think worthy of your consideration.

Each time, he will highlight the session and the board number in case you would like to revisit your own performance (and we’ll also provide a direct clickable link to the full results).

While he will always be on the lookout for hands he has actually played himself, he is very keen to hear from any member who has a hand that is interest for any reason whatsoever:

how do you bid it?
how do you play it?
how do you defend it?
