Minutes
1. There were two apologies for absence, 68 members signed the attendance register.
2. The minutes of the last AGM were taken as read – proposed by Margaret Hicks and seconded by Paski Paskaran.
3. Treasurers report – its acceptance was proposed by Wendy Stainer and seconded by Frances Allwork. Margaret Hicks raised a query concerning a typing error, there was no error. A few of last year’s subs were put into the year before due to collection dates. The accounts are correct.
4. Committee report – no matters arising.
5. Election of committee – Lynda and Nick have stepped down from the committee. We thank them for the many years of service and commitment to the club. A token of our recognition for their contributions will be given. The remaining committee agreed to stand en bloc for re-election. Acceptance was proposed by June Retter and seconded by Anita Needs.
6. Competitions. – It was confirmed that we will take part in the EBU Spring and Autumn Sims. The Wyvern Plate will continue to be held on five consecutive Wednesdays in March
7. AOB – Hosts - the members were asked to please see Elizabeth to sign up for host duty each year so that we can continue to offer a game to members who do not have a partner.
