I am sad to report that Gwen Hurst has sadly  passed away.

Gwen was one of the longest serving members of the club and served as chairman for several years. She will be sadly missed by us all.

Our deepest sympathies to Sarah and all the family.

 New Year sessions begin Monday 5th  January 2026 

The club is located at the rear of the Garden Village Institute on Ffordd Estyn, Garden Village, Wrexham. LL11 2SU.  Club Telephone No: 01978 291775

Ours is a small, friendly club, playing duplicate 3 evenings each week at 7.00pm.  Master points are awarded on Mondays, and Thursdays, with Mondays being the main competition night. Currently we play Tuesdays on Stepbridge.

Duplimated boards are scored with Bridgemates and results are available on the night within a few minutes.

Guests are welcome on any club night.

Please note that most of the N.W.B.A. events are now direct entry.

Entries should be sent to the A.T.O. Rod Sheard. Closing date for ALL events is three weeks before the date of the event.

The Garden Village Community Assosciation provides the use of the Garden Village Insitute to the local community on a not for profit basis. 

They provide a very reasonably priced facility, well suited toward childrens' birthday parties etc. and are keen to keep the building open as much as possible for the benefit of the local community.

Bridge for Improvers

Please note earlier starting time during the winter period commencing 31st October

Tuesday and Friday afternoons 1.00pm - 3.30pm (approx)

Experienced players will be on hand to partner and assist play

The fee will be £3.00 per session

Everybody welcome - no need to book or have a partner for the Tuesday sessions but advisable to try find a partner on the Friday sessions

 Members can pay cash or  by BACS . The fee this year is £25.00,  which includes WBU membership. Members who register at Park View for WBU need only pay £5.00.
