2000 was the year when Try-Duplicate was first introduced, with many people coming in from John Cattanach's renowned lessons.

Freda Davies, Vivien Greenow, Jane Bayliss and Ann Cole, Angela Bussey, Linda Mitchell Trish Mann, Simon Batten and Jayne Bolton all made first appearances in Try-Duplicate this year.

Maureen Ledger, (then Hannah) also started this year, and was in classes with some of the Try-people, but she graduated straight into the main section, first recorded session being January 2000.
