Below are archived results of all the BCL competitions we have played since March 2020.

In March 2020, we had 80+ BCL members within a fortnight of first lockdown, peaking at 120 at maximum, and the first Pairs league (with 22 pairs in an all-play-all format) began within three days of Lockdown!

We then ran Men's/Ladies'/Mixed pairs leagues across the early summer, then reverting to the Pairs format (initially 12 bd matches, later becoming 16 bd matches).

Three years on, we are about to embark on the 12th edition of WBC Pairs League, still with 16(+?) pairs, in two divisions.

Meanwhile in Summer 2020 we began to run Teams Leagues, which peaked with 9 teams in all-play-all 16bd games.

And on Tuesdays, from April 2020 till May 2022, we ran an informal "Tuesday Social", with between 3 and 7 tables playing in the Social room, and joining up for a video chat after the session. Although we no longer "run" this, some people still form up two "WBC01/02" tables every Tuesday morning!

Finally, in September 2020, we began to run Virtual Club pairs sessions (18 bds) on alternate Wednesdays, which continued until June 2022, when the popularity of our "back to F2F" games at Claines or Whittington made it hard to justify continuing.
