"Try-Duplicate" returned to WBC in October, (with other clubs too) after much planning!  Ridgeway BC is already up and running, but from October the aim is for our recent learners to be able to get a "gentler" game (normal sessions are not actually that fierce!!) in FOUR clubs around the area on different nights of different weeks: Mondays (usually the 3rd Mon of the month) at Ridgeway; Tuesdays (generally 2nd Tue of the month, TBC); Wednesdays (1st Wed of the month); and Thursdays (usually 4th Thurs) at Malvern BC.

For the above date structure, you should check with each club, as there may be some variations, but Worcester's sessions will be:

Wed 1st October; seven players, plus host Yvette, played 12 boards - well done to ALL, especially to Gail and Natalie, who came out on top!

Wed 5th November

Wed 3rd December

Other confirmed dates in October are: Ridgeway BC, Mon 20th Oct; and Malvern BC, Thur 30th Oct. (Note that this one is on the FIFTH Thursday, but November's MBC event will be on 27th November.

We will ensure that there are enough people to fill full tables, ie there will be up to three volunteers available to make 5 up to 8, 9 up to 12 etc; so you will not need to have a set partner.

We will ensure that you play a reduced number of boards, and we will look to give you some helpful guidance/reassurance after the session is over.
