What should I put for the bank transfer Reference?
Just your EBU number and nothing else please. We use your EBU number because it uniquely identifies you, whereas it is possible that we have members with the same surname or initials.
Who can make the payment?
Usually, you will make the bank transfer yourself for yourself, but it doesn't really matter who pays. The EBU number given as the Reference is the person whose bill will be paid.
Can one person pay for another?
Yes, but you must let us know so that we can set it up for you. This way of paying might be convenient for husband and wife (or other) partnerships. One person of the partnership pays the club for both of you. The person paying uses his or her EBU number as the Reference as usual, and the payment will be used for both members. Do not put both EBU numbers - just the person paying.
If you wish to use your credit to pay for another, please let the Treasurer know by clicking here.
How can I see how much I owe?
You will be able to log on to your Worcester Bridge Club website account (yes, everyone has one!) at any time to see a full statement showing your payments, deductions and balance. Please allow a few days for your payments to appear.
The club will also email you with your personalised statement at the end of each billing period.
How does the system know which sessions I've played in?
The system will automatically deduct the table money based on the names appearing in the Results for each session. You can be sure that you will only be deducted for sessions that you actually play in and will not be charged for those weeks when you don't play.
Is my statement confidential?
Yes. Only you and those committee members with website administrator access will be able to see your bill and payments.
If I am in credit, can I have my credit refunded?
Yes, at any time, you can request a full refund of any credit that you have.
I don't have online banking and cannot make bank transfers, what can I do?
If you are unable to make a bank transfer and cannot arrange for someone else to make it on your behalf, then let us know.
