No obvious "first appearances" in 2008, but a very poignant "last" session, for John Cattanach, who died just a few days after the session on June 11th, where he played as he so often did with Suzanne Griffin. These archives include so many new faces to Bridge, let alone to the Club, substantially due to John's extraordinary dedication to lessons, and to his "Try-Duplicate" sessions, which still happen from time to time. John and Suzanne's final score here was NOT typical of their partnership, more often to be seen at or near the tyop of the rankings!
