It is a pleasure to welcome 9 tables to a Mitchell movement.

Thanks to Judith for directing the event and to everyone for helping the set-up and clear-up.

In 27 hands N/S found 11 that could achieve game contracts, whereas E/W could find only 6. No-one found their way to the slams that could be mode, but many hands were highly contested. It looks like a good mix of challenges.

We look forward to meeting again on Friday 28th August, when Judie Devoy will be the director.

Play starts at 1 pm. Please arrive early to set up the tables.

Please, also, let us know if you are delayed in travelling to the venue, or if you have to cancel at a late moment. It helps us to decide on the number of tables and still start on time.
