On Friday, January 9th, we played a Mitchell movement on Nine tables. Lovely to see such enthusiasm to start the New Year, and welcome some new players.

We found generally good quality hands, today, with 18 (of 27) hands supporting game bids or better, and 8 hands supporting slams. Of the potential slams, only six were bid and 5 succeeded. Whereas, 52 games were made out of a potential of 67.  I'm sure everyone felt challenged and satisfied in some measure. 

Please arrive in good time to set up the required movement by 12:55, play from 1 pm, finish before 4 pm.
