Greetings!  And welcome to the new 2011 Walloon Lake Country Club Duplicate Bridge website.  We have three duplicate bridge activities taking place at the club that we'll capture on this website.  The first is the Intermediate Lesson group, which meets on Mondays at 1pm and is focused on Transition to Modern Bridge.  The second, which meets Mondays at 3:30pm, is a group working on Strategic Thinking - Keys to Good Decisions.   And the third is the duplicate game held on Monday evenings at 7:15pm.  For the lesson groups we'll use this website to capture as much of the lesson material as we can, which will make your preparation  and review easy. 

 This year for the Intermediate Transition to Modern Bridge group, I've prepared hands that reinforce the concepts for that week's lesson.  On the website, I'll include week-by-week lesson outlines (which you can view in advance) and the hands played during each lesson (which will be on the web FOLLOWING the lesson!).  I'll also provide an analysis of makeable contracts and a representative bidding auction.

 For the Strategic Thinking group, I've also prepared hands for each week.  These hands will cause us to discuss a variety of "thinking" topics.  Following each lesson, these hands will be provided on the website along with the makeable contract analysis and a representative auction.

 For the Monday evening game, I'll provide the results of the game.  Hand information will not be available since we'll not be using pre-dealt hands, but travelers for each board will be included.
