You are booking to play in the Charity Pairs Championship for the Scott Mitchell Trophy at the clubhouse on Sunday 22 November 2026 at 14:00

The charity chosen this year is The Dons Local Action Group

Members and their guests are welcome to enter.

Cost £15.00 per player, including afternoon tea, and a donation to the charity.
Raffle tickets available in advance and on the day (all proceeds to the charity).  Many lovely prizes to be won!
Silent Auctions for top professional players and experienced WBC Club Members are also running - see online and at the club
A minimum of 24 boards will be played.
The trophy will be presented to the winners on the day of the competition.

If you would like to play and support the charity, but don't want to enter the competition, tables of 4 may be booked for social bridge (please state on booking form - make separate entries for both pairs)

The Dons Local Action Group is a local network of volunteers initially formed in response to the COVID-19 crisis and now permanent across Merton, Wandsworth and Kingston.  Their aim is to help those in our local community to fight poverty and offer support. They provide food parcels, household goods, furniture and appliances. They also offer laptops through the Keep Kids Connected initiative for children who do not have access to online learning.
