Joanne Klerck 13th May 2020

"Joanne Klerck was a lovely, dear friend a person who enjoyed the social aspect of learning & playing the game of Bridge at the Wimbledon Bridge Club. As well as at home with her friends. Joanne, was also, a great personality and with her friends we enjoyed many laughs with her over the past few years. She is fondly, remembered and is a great loss to her family, friends and the WBC club". Suzie Vernel

Ronald Bragman April 2020

We are very sorry to announce that Ronald Bragman died at the beginning of April, having contracted the coronavirus and pneumonia. He was friendly, charming and a very amusing man, full of stories about his days with the RAF in the 50's and loved watching all kinds of sports.

He was also a very keen bridge player, was a member at WBC for many, many years and usually played during the evening sessions.  He was known to have said that the inscription on his tombstone should include "here lies Ron Bragman, Master Bridge Player"!!

Ranji Rangarajan 4th Mar 2020

Ranji Rangarajan M.A., FCII, passed away very peacefully in his residence.

He has been a member of Wimbledon bridge club for almost 30 years ever since he arrived in London.

He enjoyed playing at the club very much and was quite friendly with the members.

He would have liked to thank everyone there for making him happy to play amongst all members.

He dearly loved this game. He taught bridge to his wife and son.
