Eve Reynolds 4 Aug 1915 - 27 Jan 2021 |
Eve lived to the wonderful age of 105 and her bridge brain was as sharp at the end as it always was. She was still interested in what was going on in the world and still read a newspaper. She worked at County Hall until she retired at 60. She was always very good at sport and played in the tennis team at Spencer until she took up golf when she retired. She became very good at golf and was Lady Captain in the 1980s. She led a full and active life and was a popular member of her tennis club and golf club with lots of friends. She was a longtime member of Wimbledon Bridge Club where she played on Tuesday and Friday mornings, mostly with her friend Annette King.
